Ok, I know how this looks, and I'm sorry. I've never been one of those people who's just ga-ga over babies, so I'm as surprised as you are by the apparently inexorable aww-factor of this sort of thing. (It gets you when you least expect it.)
Good thing there's a website I can turn to when the illicit craving hits...

Exactly. Can you imagine the look on that poor baby's face if, say, it were McCaine holding it up? Be screaming its bloody head off, it would.
Which of course, makes a baby the perfect political litmus-test.
