Well, for one it indicates a remarkable level of self-control, discipline, not to mention a willingness to "share the wealth".
So, I personally wouldn't necessarily characterize this as a fault or weakness, per se; the real issue will be whether any of the half-donuts are still around at the end of the day, since that would constitute an egregious waste of precious sugary resources.
